About Kitchen Irons

Kitchen Irons Ltd. was founded in 2006 by Richard Fishenden and his wife.

They were very frustrated with the lack of space in their small country kitchen. There was no room for the pots, pans, sharp knifes and all the other stuff you need in today's world!

This led to the idea of hanging the pans, knives and utensils on the wall.

With Richard's skills as a farrier and blacksmith they developed a contemporary range of wrought iron kitchenware: pan and kitchen utensil racks, trivets and ceiling pan hangers to help de-clutter the kitchen area.

These attractive and durable pan hangers and utensil racks will enhance your kitchen and give you years of good service.

Outside of the kitchen we also have a wrought iron boot scraper made from Shirehorse shoes - practical and fun! We also make weathervanes to order.

Richard Fishenden MD Dip WCF

Richard has a passion for growing real food and for cooking it. He also loves working with iron. He lives on a small holding in the heart of Suffolk where he keeps his own horses and has a large vegetable patch. His love of the environment has led him to plant over 500 trees on his land to help offset the CO₂ that the business creates.

Self-sufficiency is the driving force behind the business. He believes in having a quality product that will last a life time and that good living should not cost the earth.
