Richard has a passion for growing real food and for cooking it. He also loves working with iron. He lives on a small holding in the heart of Suffolk where he keeps his own horses, sheep and has a large vegetable patch. His love of the environment has led him to pledge planting a tree for each product sold to offset CO₂. The name of the product purchased will dictate which tree is planted and will take place once a year.

Self-sufficiency is the driving force behind the business. He believes in having a quality product that will last a life time and that good living should not cost the earth.
